Center of international finance, Wall Street: 700 people arrested in one day..Can buses be used for arrests? Bus company says no

several major unions, including city's teachers' union and United Auto Workers, joined in a march and a rally

Hundreds of protesters have flooded the area around Wall Street to demonstrate against corporate greed. For over 2 weeks...occupied financial district and camped out in nearby Zuccotti Park.

Since Occupy Wall Street began, protesters have attracted supporters in cities including Boston and Chicago as well as union members and demonstrators from all age groups.

Mounted police try to stop Occupy Wall Street participants from breaking through barricades and spilling onto the street at Times Square in New York on Oct. 15. Thousands of demonstrators protesting corporate greed filled Times Square and dozens were arrested.

Disney World opened 40 yrs ago today: "family amusement park...to walk, sit...relax, stay human, stop swearing, start smiling"

Impetus for Disney World came from Walt Disney (above in 1953) who disliked all of the businesses that opened around Disneyland in California

Orlando, Florida - in the late 1960s construction began on the shores of Bay Lake..the site of the future 1,057-room hotel in Decmeber 1970.

The iconic centerpiece of the Magic Kingdom - destined to become one of the world's most photographed building - goes up at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, 1971.
