This move to expand the sphere of influence with regard to making global policy decisions in long overdue and illustrates the fact that emerging nations must have a voice at the table.
This will not only affect the financial markets, but will include those issues related to the environment and climate change. It will be important for the U.S. and Europe to facilitate this shift rather than pushing back, as has been the approach to date.
